- 2. Keep palm leaves you get from church in a few inches of water until ready to use.

Instructions
- Measure final length for finished cross as the length of your hand starting at the widest end of the palm leaf. (See video)
- Flip up and over the pointy end of the leaf and make a crease at the designated final length mark. (See video)
- Make sure the folded end of leaf is now at the top, with the pointy half of the leaf on top. You will use this pointy end of the leaf to make the rest of the cross.
- Using your knuckle and finger to measure, make a right angle fold to make the right cross bar. (see video)
- Flip leaf under the vertical bar and press down the right crossbar.
- Flip the leaf across to the right to form the left crossbar and press down. (see video)
- Flip the leaf up and at an angle. (see video)
- Loop around the front of the cross to form first half of the X on the front of the cross.
- Loop leaf across the back, horizontally around the vertical crossbar to form a pocket. (see video)
- Flip cross over and bring the leaf point over the front of the cross to complete the X pattern on the front. (Almost done!)
- On the back of the cross, tuck the final piece of leaf through the back "pocket" to secure the cross. Done!
